Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly causes another person injury or discomfort. It is mistreatment severe enough to compromise a targeted worker’s health, jeopardize her or his job and career, and strain relationships with friends and family.(workplacebullying.com) Bullying can take place in many settings and throughout all age groups. Individuals are usually victimized due to what â€Å"society’s† perception of the way an individual should look, act, and/or feel. Sometimes bullies are not aware of their own actions, while others are. Bullying in the workplace seems to be more common everyday. Bullying is a phenomenon of unequal power. One member has power over another. In order to be able to stop and control bullying, society needs to be aware of the different types of bullying, as wel l as whom to properly notify when these instances occur.
